High Heels Poker Tour

The greatest thing I ever did to improve my game and become a more involved poker player was to join the High Heels Poker Tour online last year. I found out about their Academy that would be running in April, the day before the Women's Tournament of the WSOP in Las Vegas! It was the best! All of the people are so kind go out of their way to accommodate all of the women who had signed up. The speakers were all top poker players with a wealth of knowledge to impart to all of us there. The practical portion of the session was an interesting learning experience. I learned about a strange 'tell' that I have (of course, I won't be mentioning it here) and many other things about my play. But the thing I took away from that group of women was the happiness I felt, the belonging that I felt, and the encouragement that I felt. The day after the Academy we had a tournament at the Hard Rock Hotel. The winner would receive the buy-in for the WSOP Women's Tournament the next day. I came in SECOND! I even went and bought in for the tournament and had the time of my life! I can not thank them enough for putting me on this new direction in my life. Thank you High Heels Poker Tour.
